さて、2020年一発目は、バンコクからカンチャナブリの行き方をご紹介致します。カンチャナブリは、バンコクからも程近く、近隣には滝や温泉もあるので、自然の中で遊びたい方にオススメのスポットです！

しかしながら、バスや電車で行くとなると、まずバンコク市内の駅（またはターミナル）までたどり着くのに一苦労。そこで、今回ご紹介するミニバン（ロットゥー:รถ ตู้）でしたら、早くまた簡単にカンチャナブリまで辿り着けますよ！

This year’s first blog, I’m going to tell you about “How to go to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok?” Kanchanaburi is rather close from Bangkok, and there are some waterfalls and hot spring nearby. If you are looking for nature, Kanchanaburi is definitely for you!

However, If you want to go to Kanchanaburi by bus or train, it’s a pain to get to the station (or terminal) in Bangkok. Thus, I would like to recommend to use mini vans (called Rottu : รถ ตู้), it’s easy to get to Kanchanaburi, and it’s very fast!

 

 

バスでカンチャナブリに行くには、バンコクの南バスターミナルに行かなければなりません。

 

If you want to go to Kanchanaburi by bus, you need to go to the Southern bus terminal.

 

 

ご覧の通り、公共交通機関ではかなりアクセスし辛いロケーションです…

ローカルバスを乗りこなすのはレベルが高いので、タクシーを使用するのが最も現実的ですが、ご存知の通りバンコクの渋滞はとても酷いです。時間＆お金をかなり無駄にしてしまいます。

また、北バスターミナル（モーッチト）からもバスはある様なのですが、僕が確認しに行った所、インフォメーションの方が仰るには「1日1本のみで、今日はもう無いよ！」と言われてしまいました…ちなみに土曜日のお昼頃です。

 

As you can see, if you want to get there by public transportations, it’s pretty inconvenient…

Taking local buses is very difficult for tourists, so taking a taxi is the best option. However, as you know that Bangkok’s traffic jam is insane! You’ll waste your time and money…

There are buses, which depart from the Northern bus terminal (Mo Chit), but when I went there to ask the information centre, a guy said “There is only one bus per day, no buses today!”… FYI, It was on Saturday around lunch time.

 

電車の始発駅は、かの有名な「ホアランポーン駅」では無く、トンブリーと言う駅なのもちょっとしたトラップです！

 

Trains go to Kanchanaburi leave from Thon Buri station, not from the famous “Hua Lamphong Station”. Gosh, it’s a trap! 

 

トンブリー駅もまた、アクセスするのがちょっと面倒な場所です。

最近延伸した、MRTの「Bang Khun Non」駅から約1km位の距離なので、歩こうと思えば可能ですが大きな荷物がある時はシンドイですね…まあここも駅から駅まではタクシー使用が無難になってきます。

 

Thon Buri station is also located in an inconvenient place.

MRT has been stretched out recently, so you can walk from “Bang Khun Non” station. But, it’s nearly 1 km, so if you have a big backpack with you, it’s gonna be a tough work! I reckon that you might want to use a taxi.

 

 

タイには先述した「ロットゥー」と言う、日本のハイエースの様な車を、旅客用に利用しています。

短〜中距離の都市間を結ぶ、このロットゥーと言うミニバンは非常に利用価値が高く、またバスや電車より早く到着する事が出来ます！

 

There are vehicles called, “Rottu” in Thailand, and it’s often called mini van in English.

These mini vans connect short to middle distanced cities, and these are very useful indeed! Moreover, you can arrive much faster than buses and trains.

現在ロットゥーは、この新しく設置されたミニバンターミナルに発着致します。北バスターミナルの向かいに新設されました。

向かう場所によってセクションが別れており、今回目指すカンチャナブリは「D」の建物と言われました。

 

Nowadays, these mini vans leave and arrive at this newly established minivan terminal. This mini van terminal is located in front of the Northern bus terminal.

The sections are divided by destinations, and Kanchanaburi is building “D“.

 

 

建物内に入ると、各チケットカウンターから猛烈な客引きを浴びますので、行き先を告げましょうw

値段の比較はしていませんが、恐らく値段は一緒かと思われます。値段失念しましたが、確かカンチャナブリまで150バーツ程度でした…

 

When you get in a building, there are many people asking “Where are you going?”. It’s bloody easy to buy a ticket!

I didn’t compare the prices, but I guess it’s all the same. The price to Kanchanburi was around 150THB… (sorry I didn’t take a memo!)

 

 

ミニバンターミナルへの行き方 / How to get to the mini van terminal

 

 

さて、最後にこのミニバンターミナルへの、公共交通機関を使用して行く方法をお伝え致しましょう！

まずは地下鉄（MRT)Chatuchak park駅まで向かいます。ウィークエンドマーケットがある駅です。3番出口を出て、そのまま少し歩きます。

 

At the end, I would like to tell you how to get to the minivan terminal by using public transportations! 

Go to Chatuchak park station (MRT), and get out from exit 3, and keep walking 1 min.

 

 

3番出口を出て、歩いて直ぐにバス停がありますので、そこに止まるほとんどのバスは北バスターミナル（モーッチト）まで行きます。心配であれば、バスに乗る際「モーッチト？」と聞いてから乗り込みましょう。

上の写真の看板に記載のある番号のバスは、全てモーチットバスターミナルまで向かいます！簡単〜。

 

You can find a bus stop after getting out from Exit 3, and most of the buses go to the Northern bus terminal ( Mo chit). If you are worried, just ask a driver.

北バスターミナルの入り口あたりで、全員下車するかと思いますので一緒に下車しましょう。目指すミニバンターミナルは、道路の対岸に位置しています！

この幹線道路を歩いて横切るのは、かなり至難の技ですので、側にある歩道橋を利用しましょう。大きなカバンがあると、昇り降りがちょっとキツイですが、ターミナルは目の前です！

 

I’m sure everyone gets off from a bus at the entrance of Mo chit bus terminal. The minivan terminal is located against the bus terminal!

You need to cross a big road in front of you, so take an overhead walkway. It’s a bit tough, if you carry a big backpack… but the minivan terminal is just right there!

 

 

今回は、バンコクからカンチャナブリへの簡単な行き方として、ミニバンをご紹介致しました。

このミニバンは、色んな都市で利用する事が出来、バスや電車が通っていないルートを網羅している事もあり、非常に便利です。ただ、一般的にミニバンのドライバーは凄くスピードを出す人が多いので、乗車の際は必ずシートベルトを着用しましょう！

 

・バンコクからカンチャナブリへ、電車やバスで行くのは バンコク市内の移動がとても不便 ！

・バンコクからカンチャナブリへは、 ミニバン（ロットゥー）が早くて便利 ！

・ミニバンのターミナルは、北バスターミナル（モーッチト）の向かいで、 公共交通機関でも簡単に安く行けます ！

On this post, I’ve been writing about how to go to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok.

Mini vans are pretty popular in Thailand, and in some cases, mini vans connect the routes that neither buses nor trains offer service. Mind you, mini vans are very useful indeed, but most of the drivers drive super fast… so, don’t forget to fasten a seatbelt! 

 

・Going to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok by bus or trains,  it’s super inconvenient to travel inside Bangkok !

・Going to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok,  using a mini van is the fastest, and easiest !

・The mini van terminal is located opposite of the Northern bus terminal( Mo chit), and  easy and cheap access by public transportations !
