という事で、今回はチェンマイで購入する事が出来る、とても美味しくて値段も安いコーヒー豆を買う事が出来るお店を紹介致します！

This time, I would like to write about coffee beans in Chiang mai. Coffee has been booming in Thailand, and many delicious coffees have been produced!

On this post, I want to tell you where to buy delicious & cheap coffee beans in Chiang mai! 

 

 

今回ご紹介する Hill Koff Coffee ですが、日本で言う所の珈琲問屋の様なお店でして、コーヒーに関する物全てを取り扱っております。豆はもちろんの事、本格的なコーヒーマシーンも多数取り扱っていて、カフェを開業するならココ！と言った感じのお店です。

チェンマイにある数多あるカフェも、ここの豆を使っている所が非常に多いそうです。

 

 Hill Koff Coffee  has very wide ranges of products, for sure there are many coffee beans and also coffee machines. Many Chiang mai people who want to open up a cafe visit this place!

There are thousands of cafes in Chiang mai, and many places use their beans.

ご覧頂いた通り、アラビカ豆のコーヒーが最安で250gで115バーツ〜と、とってもリーズナブルな値段設定になっています。

また、希少なピーベリーでさえ250gで180バーツと他店と比べてもかなり安いのが分かりますね！比較の為に、チェンマイで一番有名なアカアマコーヒーの物と、Royal Projectの物と比較してみましょう。

 

As you can see, the Arabica beens are sold from 115 THB for 250g. I do think the prices are very reasonable here.

The rare Peaberry is also sold 180THB for 250g. Compare to other shops, the price is really cheap here! FYI, I’ll put the pics of Akha Ama and Royal Project shop.

いかがでしょうか？なかなかの差があるのが分かりますね！お土産に、また自分用に大量に購入される方ですと、結構な金額の差になるのでバカになりませんよね！

Hill Koffのパッケージデザインは、金の袋にシンプルなラベルでセンスも良く、お土産として渡しても問題無いですよね。

さらにHill Koffには、アラビカとロバスタ種を混ぜた安いシリーズも取り扱いがあります！

 

How is it? There is a quite big difference aye? If you are a coffee lover and buy a lot, this difference isn’t negligible.

Hill Koff’s package design is very simple and neat, so no problem for souvenir too.

Moreover, Hill Koff has more affordable series, which is mixed with Arabica and Robusta too! 

 

 

種類は沢山ありますが、安い物ですと250gで100バーツを切る物もあります。

 

There are many varieties, and the cheap one is less than 100THB for 250g.

ロバスタ種に至っては、1kgで240バーツ！と、とんでも無く安価に設定されています。コーヒージャンキーな方にオススメですねw

 

As for the Robusta, it costs only 240THB for 1kg! Man, it’s super cheap isn’t it? Definitely recommended for coffee junkie!hahaha.

 

 

肝心の味は？ / How about the taste?

 

Hill Koffの味の特徴ですが、基本的に深煎りしているので酸味は少なく、重厚な味と苦味が特徴です。僕は個人的に、コーヒーに酸味を求めていないので、Hill Koffの焙煎具合は非常に好きです。

コーヒー好きの友人に、いつもお土産として買って行きますが、とても好評で最近はリクエストされる程です！

先述の通り、いつもBlack Thaiを購入していましたが、先日帰国する際にロバスタとのミックスの廉価版の物を、数点購入して飲んでみましたが、どれもボディーがしっかりとしていて酸味も少なく、非常に美味しかったです！

注意点ですが、ここHill Koffで売られているのは豆のみで、挽いた物は売られていないのでご注意を！

 

The taste of Hill Koff coffee beans, the beans are well roasted, so there is a little acidity but full body taste and bitterness. I personally don’t like sour coffee, so I do love their taste very much.

I always buy coffee beans here for my friends (they are coffee lovers), and they really like the beans here. They even request the beans recently!

As I recommended before, I always buy Black Thai. The other day, when I was going back to Japan, I bought the mix of Arabica and Robusta beans. They tasted pretty good, and I was comfortably surprised the taste! Bloody good deal!

Mind you, Hill Koff sells only whole beans, not grated ones!

 

 

 

Hill Koffは私が知る限り、2店舗ありますが旧市街から近い方をご紹介します。

旧市街北にあります、チャンプアック門から北に伸びる道路を北上して、右折しますとHill Koffはあります。ここから約1km離れた所にも、ここより大きい店舗があります。

品揃え等は特に変わりありませんが、旧市街に近い方の地図で示した店舗は日曜定休なのでご注意ください！

 

As far as I know, there are 2 branches in Chiang mai, and I wanna show you the one, close from the old city.

There is the road called Chang Phuak Rd, which runs from the Chang Phuak gate (North Gate), and make a right turn to Hill Koff. There is another bigger branch about 1km from the shop.

The selection of products are pretty much the same, but the one on the map is closed on Sundays, so please do be careful!
