ノースフェイスのサンダル / Sandals of North Face
ホーチミンで購入した、ノースフェイスのコピー品の中で一番出来が良く、購入して満足したのは何を隠そうこちらのベースキャンプサンダルなんです！
この凹凸になっているソールが、足を程よく刺激してくれ、足の裏が汗をかいてくっつくと言う事を防いでくれます。また、ソールの硬さも絶妙で、ビーチサンダルながらそこそこ距離を歩いても、足が疲れにくいんですよね。
I purchased many items in Ho chi minh city, but these copy Base camp sandals were the most well-copied, and I was very happy to buy them!
The dimpled soles stimulate gently your soles, and thanks to this structure, your sweaty soles aren’t stuck on the sandals. Moreover, the soles have nice hardness, so your feet won’t be that tired, even if you walk pretty a lot.
ノースフェイスのロゴを象った靴底が、しっかりとグリップしてくれるので、濡れたタイルの上を歩いても滑らないのには驚きました！購入して1年経ち、夏の間は結構履き倒しましたが、ソールもまだあまり擦り減っていないので、耐久性もまずまずの様です。
These North Face’s logo soles do have a very nice grip. I was comfortably surprised that these sandals didn’t slip at all when I walked on wet tiles. It’s been over a year since I bought them, and I wore them pretty a lot during the summer. As you can see, the soles look still solid, so the durability seems ok.
ノースフェイスのロゴも、かなり堅牢にプリントされています。直ぐに剥がれるのでは…と心配しましたが、いまだにしっかりとくっ付いています。
昔のコピー品だと、プリントなどは直ぐに剥がれてしまっていたので、この辺りの技術も進化しているんでしょうね！
The logo of North Face is securely printed. I was worried that the logo would come off pretty quickly, but it was ok.
The copy cast back in a decade ago, prints came off very easily. The technology has been progressing in this field too!
・何処で買えるのか？ / Where can you buy these sandals?
このサンダルは、 ロシアンマーケット にて約＄１０で購入致しました。
入店して1階フロアーの左手奥の方に進みますと、少し狭い通路の様な所に出店しているお店がありますので、そちらのお店で唯一取り扱いがありました。
ロシアンマーケットには、ノースフェイスなどの冬物を扱っているお店が数多くありますが、正直クオリティーは良くないですし、値段もそこまでお手頃では無いので、お勧めいたしません。また、ノースのカバンやドライバッグなどを取り扱うお店もあり、ベンタイン市場に比べると酷い値段は提示して来ないので、穴場のスポットです。
I bought these sandals in Russian market , and they set me back $10.
When you enter the building, please head on your left. You will find a small alley, and the shop is located there, and this shop is the only one that sells these sandals.
There are many shops that sell copy North Face jackets in Russian Market, but the quality is pretty poor, and the price isn’t reasonable. It might be a good spot to buy North Face bags, and dry bags too, as the price is lower than Ben Thanh market.
サロモンのシューズ / Salomon’s shoes
10年以上振りにホーチミンを訪れてびっくりしたのが、なんとサロモンのトレランシューズのコピーが大量に出回っている事！以前はコピーの靴と言えば、ナイキやアディダス位しかなく、またそのクオリティーもお粗末なものでした…
どうも、サロモンの靴もベトナムで製造されている様で、そこから資材なり技術が漏れまくっているのでしょう、色んな場所で見ることが出来ます。
I was very surprised that I could see tons of copy Salomon’s trail running shoes everywhere! Back in a decade ago, what you could find the copy shoes were Nike or Adidas, and the quality was very bad…
I reckon that Salomon’s products are made in Vietnam, and the materials or technology have been leaking from the factories, you can find copy shoes everywhere.
何件のお店を見て回りましたが、何処の店員も言うのが「この爪先部分にロゴがあるのが本物の証拠だ！」でした。
まあ何処の商品にもこのロゴは刻まれていますし、第一本物のハズないんですけどね…w
I checked many many shops, and most of them said “Look, there is the logo on the toe, that means authentic!”.
Well, all of the copy shoes, which I checked had the logo, and they couldn’t be real! Hahaha…
このサロモンのシューズ、パッと見は確かに凄い精度のコピー具合で驚きました。ただ、1年以上履いてみて分かったのが、やはり耐久性です。ソール部分が簡単に捥げてしまうんですよね…
また、プラスチックのパーツ部分があるんですが、これも簡単に割れてしまいます。
These Salomon’s copy shoes, they look pretty good at the first sight. However, look at the pic… After wearing them about a year, the sole was partially broken already…
There are also plastic parts on the shoes, and the plastic parts have got some cracks too.
このシューズもグリップ力は抜群で、滑る事は滅多に無いんですが、やはり耐久性が…
1年ちょっとで、ここまでソールがすり減ってしまう靴は、ちょっと残念ですな。とは言え、非常に軽く通気性も優れているので、タウンユースには問題無いでしょう。これを履いて、トレランするのは止めておきましょう！山で壊れたら大変ですからねw
These shoes also have solid grip, but the durability is disappointing…
The soles have worn out that much about a year. Having said that, these shoes are very light, and very breathable, so no problem for a town use. Don’t go trail running with these shoes tho!
・何処で購入出来るのか？ / Where can you buy these shoes?
こちらのシューズは、悪名高い ベンタイン市場 にて＄３５にて購入致しました。
地図で示しました、ベンタイン市場を出た細い通りにも、沢山のコピー商品を扱うお店があり、そこでもサロモンのシューズは購入できます。言い値こそバラツキはありますが、どこも＄３５以下にはまけてくれませんでした。
お隣カンボジアのアウトレットショップでも購入出来ますが、値段は＄５０位しますので購入するならホーチミンの方が安いです。
I bought these shoes at notoriously famous Ben Thanh market , and they were $35.
There are many shops on the small street, which is indicated on google map. The shops also sell copy Salomon shoes. Starting prices differ from the shops, but I couldn’t discount lower than $35.
You can find these shoes in the outlet stores in Cambodia too, but the price is about $50.

わざわざベトナムまでコピー品を購入しに行く方はいらっしゃらないと思いますが、東南アジア周遊中に靴やサンダルを買い換えたい！と言う方や、ベトナムで変わったお土産でも…と言う方にお勧めです。

・Ben Thanh market and surrounding area are the best spots to buy Salomon’s copy shoes!
・The durability of copy Salomon shoes is a bit disappointing. Wear them only in towns!
