毎度〜タカです！この間の3連休は、またまた谷川連峰に2泊3日でトレッキングに行ってきました。

ご存知、台風25号が日本海側＆北海道に接近していて、山の上は暴風でしたwその様子は、近いうちにレポートを書こうと思います！

 

Good day, it’s Taka here! I went trekking to Mt. Tanigawa mountain range recently again.

The typhoon No.25 struck Japan and it was extremely brutal up in the mountain! I’m going to write about the trekking report near the future, so stay tuned guys!

 

さて、皆さんカンボジアと聞いて何をイメージしますか？

やっぱりアンコールワットでしょうね〜。ていうか、それ以外あまり見所が無いのがカンボジアの悲しい所。シアヌークビルというビーチもありますが、かつてのようなマッタリとしていて、そこそこ綺麗なビーチ…と言った面影は今は無く、現地人と中国人でごった返す、ちょっとガッカリなビーチになってしまっています。

シアヌークビルは、昔はバックパッカーリゾートとして西洋人ツーリストなんかに人気で、僕も結構気に入っていました。宿は＄5も出せばエアコン付きの部屋でしたし、美味しい刺身を毎日大量のビールで流し込む生活を送っていました。それでも、一人＄10位でしたよね…

10年以上前、お気に入りの宿があったビクトリービーチも、今は無くなってしまい、海には無数のゴミが浮かんでいて、その隣に大きな中華料理屋が建っています。う〜ん、時代と共にカンボジアの汚染は酷くなっていますね。

 

What’s your image about Cambodia?

I’m sure most of you guys think about Angkor wat right? Well… sadly enough, that’s the only highlight in Cambodia! There is the beach called “Sihanoukville”, but it’s quite busy as there are many Cambodian people and the Chinese.

Sihanoukville used to be pretty popular known as “Backpacker resort” and I also liked staying there. A room with AC costed $5, and I ate very fresh Sushi with tons of beer every night. I remember that was about $10…

I liked to stay in Victory beach area, but nowadays, the beach gets very dirty and there is a huge Chinese restaurant. The pollution in Cambodia has been getting worse and worse!

 

カンボジア駐在時代に、シアヌークビル以外のビーチも覗いてみようと、ケップというビーチに行ってみました。事前情報では、あまり海は綺麗ではないけど蟹で有名との事…そりゃ行くしかあんめぇ！蟹とビールでやっちゃんべ！と、連休を利用してケップに行ってみる事にしました。

余談ですが、カンボジアは、ビールがとても安く飲める、ビール好きにはたまならい国です。生ビールジョッキが大体＄1位で飲めます。缶ビールは商店などで、75セント程度です。

 

When I was working in Cambodia, I was looking for another place to get relaxed. I heard that Kep is a pretty good spot to eat CRAB… so I decided to go there as Crab and beer were waiting for me!

As you might know that beer in Cambodia is still cheap. If you have a jug of beer in a restaurant, it’s about $1. Buying a can beer is about 75 cents. Good place for beer lovers!

 

以前書いた、プノンペンのお勧め宿の記事でもちょろっと触れましたが、プノンペン街中にはバス乗り場がいくつか存在し（会社によって場所が異なります）、ケップ行きの便も、各社日に何本か出ております。

もし、プノンペンで泊まる際は、先述のお勧め宿に宿泊すれば、フロントに頼んでバスチケットを手配することも可能です。大型連休以外なら、ホテルまでピックアップサービスがあるのも非常に助かります！

僕はいつも、7時プノンペン発のバスに乗っていたと記憶しています。ケップ到着は大体お昼頃で、プノンペンの渋滞具合で、所要時間は大きく変わりますので、目安として約5時間はかかると覚悟しておきましょう。カンボジアの交通事情は、カオスそのものですw

 

As I posted the recommended hotel in Phnom Penh, there are few bus terminals in the city (the bus terminals vary from companies.) and each company runs few buses to Kep everyday.

If you stay in Phnom Penh and stay in the hotel, they can book a bus ticket for you. You can get a free pick-up service(except for some long holidays.), that’s a pretty good deal!

I remember I always took a bus to Kep at 7 AM and arrived in Kep about lunch time. However, travelling time heavily depends on the traffic jam in PP, so better think it’s gonna take roughly 5 hours to Kep. The traffic in Cambodia is CRAZY!

 

バスの下車ポイントに気をつけて！  Remember the place where you should get off a bus!

プノンペンからバスに乗ると、ケップビーチにある旅行代理店の様な場所でバスは停車し、ほとんどの人はここで下車します。

後ほどお伝えする、ケップお勧めのホテルや、有名なクラブマーケットはここから国道33Aをちょっと北上した所にあるので、バスは降りずに「クラブマーケット近くで下ろして！」と伝えましょう。

地図上に示した「Visnu Status」と書いてあるランドアバウトで下ろして貰うのが、一番分かりやすいですね。歩くと地味に距離あるので、炎天下の時はキツイです！

 

If you take a bus from PP, the bus stops at a travel agency facing to the Kep beach and most of the people get off here.

My recommended hotel and the Crab market are a bit up north, so do NOT get off a bus and tell a driver you wanna go to the Crab market.

The best spot to get off a bus is “Visnu Status” written on the map. It’s a huge round-about so you won’t miss it. If you get off a bus at the beach, you need to walk about 20mins… it’s tough if the sunshine is intense!

 

さて、飯事情の前にお勧めのホテルをご紹介しておきましょう。こちらLe Kep Bungalows（←Hotels.comに飛びます。）には、何回か泊まりましたが、毎回気持ち良く滞在する事が出来ました！

お値段は、時期と部屋のタイプによって異なりますが、大体$30でバンガローに宿泊出来ます。

 

Well, let me introduce my recommended hotel first. Le Kep Bungalows could be the best place in Kep! I’ve stayed there a few times and every time I had a good time!

The price varies from the type of rooms and season, but it costs about $30.

 

先ほどお伝えした、ヴィシュヌの像から歩いて5分。国道から逸れると、未舗装の道を歩いて行きます。結構凸凹の道ですので、気をつけて行きましょう！また、夜は電灯ないので真っ暗ですw

 

It takes about 5 mins from the Visnu status to the hotel.  You need to make a right turn to the hotel and the road is pretty rough. Please do be careful during the night, it’s pitch black!

 

部屋の入り口にテーブルとソファーが置いてるので、ここでビールを飲んでまったりしていました。庭も手入れが行き届いていて、好印象です！

 

There are a table and sofa at the entrance, so I had beer there. The garden was well maintained, good!

室内は広々としていて、両サイドに大きな窓があるので明るく気持ちが良かったです。もちろんエアコン・冷蔵庫などは付いていますし、小さいキッチンスペースも付いていました。ケトルがあったので、朝はカップラーメンなど食べていました。

朝ご飯もホテルで食べる事は出来ますが、かなりシンプルでお世辞にも美味しいとは言えないので、先述の様に朝はカップラーメンと、フルーツシェイク程度にとどめておきました。

 

As you can see, the room is pretty spacious and there are big windows on both sides. Of course, there are AC, fridge, and even kitchen. There was a kettle, so I had an instant noodle for brekky.

Once I had breakfast at the hotel, but it wasn’t good… So as I mentioned before, I had an instant noodle and fruit shake.

 

・大きなプール付き！  There is a big swimming pool!

Le Kep Bungalowsの最大の売りは、こちらの大きなプール！プール越しに、このホテルの直ぐ裏手に広がる国立公園が見えます。

デッキチェアーが傷んでいる物が多いのが、ちょっとマイナスですが、プールは毎日掃除されているので水質はそこそこ綺麗です。スタッフが、プールの底を専用の掃除機の様なもので掃除をしているのを良く見かけました。

 

What I really liked about Le Kep Bungalows is, this big swimming pool! You can see the bush behind right?  This is Kep National Park.

The deck chairs are pretty damaged, but the pool is also well maintained. I saw a staff member was vacuuming the bottom of the pool every day.

 

プールサイドで優雅にフルーツシェイク。昼くらいからは、ビールに切り替えていましたけどねw

いや〜このホテルは、かなりまったり出来てお勧めですぞ！とても静かなロケーションにあるので、ここがカンボジアだと忘れてしまう位です。

 

Having a fruit shake by the pool wasn’t bad at all! I switched to beer around lunch time tho…

I really do recommend this hotel, as you can fully get relaxed! This hotel is located in a very quiet area, so you would forget you are in Cambodia.

 

先述の通り、ケップには国立公園があり、そこをグルっと歩く事が出来ます。

ビーチもあるにはあるんですが、そこまで綺麗ではないし、ホテルのプールでゴロゴロしている方が気楽で良いんですよね…

 

As I mentioned before, there is the National park and you can make a circuit.

There is the beach in Kep, but the water isn’t that clean and it’s better to be lazy in the swimming pool at the hotel…

 

初めて行った時、サンセットの写真でも撮りに行こうとビーチに行ってみました。

水質は、お世辞にも綺麗とは言えませんし、カンボジア人はどこにでもゴミを捨てるので、至る所にゴミが落ちています。一度見ておけば、もう行く必要はないですかね…

 

I went to the beach to take a picture of a sunset on my first visit.

The water wasn’t clean and the local people throw rubbish everywhere… Once you visit the beach, you won’t go there anymore.

 

と言うことで、大人しく国立公園を一周してみる事にしました！ホテルを出て右に行き、どん突きを右折してしばらく歩くと、ゲートがありそこで入園料$1支払います。

一応、案内板があるんですが、現在地が印されていないのであまり役に立たず…カンボジアっぽいですねw

 

One day, I decided to walk around the national park! Get out the hotel and take a right turn, you’ll see Q Bangalow. Then, turn right and keep walking for a while, you’ll see the entrance gate and need to pay $1 for the admission fee.

There is the map board, but the current location isn’t mentioned… so it’s pretty useless. Oh well, it’s Cambodia!

 

 

 

ジャングルの様な、未舗装の道をどんどんと歩いて行くと、ところどころで海を見渡す事が出来るポイントがあります。この日は、雨の後でなおかつ曇っていたので、そこまで暑くはなかったです。

グルっと一周するなら、なるべく午前中の方が良いかも知れません。カンカン照りの時に歩くのは結構ハードそうです。

 

You are going to walk in a jungle and the road is unpaved. You will encounter some ocean viewpoints. Luckily enough, it was after raining and pretty cloudy, so it wasn’t that hot.

If you want to make a circuit, better make it in the morning. It could be hard when the sun is strong.

 

歩を進めて行くと、東屋がありました！ジャングルを抜けたので、風通しが良く気持ち良いです。海岸線も見渡せるので、良い休憩スポットですな。

 

As I kept walking, there was a chill space! This place isn’t covered by bush, so you can get a nice breeze. You can also watch the coastline, so it’s nice to take a break here.

 

国立公園内を、ぐるっと時計回りに歩いたのですが、敷地内に建設途中で頓挫してしまった建物がありました。ちょっと気味が悪いですね・・・

また、この付近に大きな野良犬が数匹たむろっていて、怖い思いをしながら通過しました。東南アジアの野良犬は、凶暴なやつもいるから油断なりません！決して走って逃げない様にしましょう。

 

I walked the national park clockwise and there was a building which had been abandoned. It was kinda spooky…

There were stray dogs around here… it was a bit scary. As the stray dogs can be quite dangerous in Southeast Asia. Never try to run away, be calm and walk slowly.

 

トレーニングがてら、早歩きで国立公園内を一周しましたが約90分くらいで回る事が出来ました。散歩するには丁度良い時間と距離ですね！

良い汗をかいたので、ホテルに戻ってきてから直ぐにプールに飛び込みました！もちろんビールも飲みました。

 

I was doing fast-walking and I made a circuit by 90mins. It was a good exercise!

I was sweating a lot, so I jumped into the swimming pool as soon as I got back to the hotel! I took a bottle of beer for sure!

 

 

さてさて、やっと本題の食事情をご紹介しましょう！ケップには、クラブマーケットと呼ばれる市場が海岸線にあり、その周辺にレストランが沢山並んでいます。

どこも、海を見ながら食べられる造りになっています。ローカル色丸出しの店もありますが、なかなかオシャレな感じにしている店もあり、お店選びは難しいです。

 

Well, let’s talk about food! There is the Crab market by the beach and there are many restaurants there.

Each restaurant offers the ocean view. Some look like very local (in other words, not looking sophisticated), but some look pretty nice. It might be difficult to choose the right one.

 

~Holy Crab~

ケップで美味しいと有名なレストランは、こちらHoly Crabでしょう！お値段は、他のレストランに比べると若干お高めですが、味もサービスも文句なしです！スタッフも皆さん達者な英語を喋るので、オーダーも困りませんし、接客対応もカンボジアとは思えない程、洗練されていてます。

 

Holy Crab could be the most well-known restaurant in Kep! The price is a bit higher than the others, but the taste and service are GREAT! All the staff members can speak very good English, so there is no hassle to order. Their service is very sophisticated indeed.

まあまずは無難に、蟹と野菜をニンニクのソースで炒めた物を頼みました。味付けも丁度よく、蟹味噌も入っていてとても美味しかったです！一口食べてから、写真を撮るのを忘れていた事に気がつき、慌てて撮った一枚なので、あまり良い写りでは無いですねwバスの長旅でお腹がペコペコだったんです…

 

First of all, I ordered Fried crab with garlic sauce.  The taste was just right, not salty nor weak taste. There were crab innards and I really loved it! I forgot to take a pic before eating, so the pic doesn’t look good tho!Hahaha. I was tired from taking a bus for long time and I was starving…

 

Holy Crabには何度か訪れましたが、どの料理も本当に美味しかったです。蟹の揚げ春巻きはビールのつまみにピッタリでしたね〜！

サラダなども頼みましたが、どれも美味しく味付けがきつく無いんですよね。と言うのも、こちらのレストランは MSG（味の素）フリー を売りにしています。東南アジアは、味の素を大量に使うところが多いので、こういったお店は超貴重！まあ程々に使う程度なら許せますが、調理してるところを見ると、凄い量を入れてるレストラン多いですからね。味に自信が無いから、味の素ぶち込むんですよ！

 

I’ve visited Holy Crab many times and each dish is delicious. The deep fried crab spring rolls went really well with beer!

I also had some salads and it was also great, as the taste was gentle. Actually, Holy crab is  MSG free , that’s why I do recommend such a restaurant! Many restaurants in Southeast Asia use pretty a lot of MSG. That’s kinda cheating for me!

 

お勧め度  Rating ☆☆☆

数多あるレストランの中でも、こちらHoly Crabは料理＆サービス共に群を抜けていますね。カンボジアでは多くのレストランを食べ歩きましたが、ここの料理はトップクラスに美味しかったです！ケップに行ったら間違いなく、訪れて欲しいレストランです。

時間帯によっては、ツアーバスの団体客で混み合うこともありますが、ちょっと外せば空いているので、海沿いの席でノンビリと過ごす事が出来ます。

木曜が定休日みたいですので、要注意！

 

Holy crab is surely one of the best ones in my experience in Cambodia. The taste and service are really a high standard. If you visit Kep, must try this restaurant.

There can be group tourists so can be busy, but if you avoid the peak-time you can take a table by the ocean. Indulge yourself as much as you want!

They are closed on Thursdays, be careful!

 

~Knai Bang Chatt Sailing Club~

さて、お次のお勧めは、かなりハイソなレストランですよ！

こちら、Knai Bang Chatt（←Hotels.comに飛びます。）はセーリングクラブや、リゾートホテルが併設されている、とってもお洒落なレストランです！先ほどのHoly Crabなどがある、クラブマーケットから少し北上した場所にあります。

ホテルの値段は高めですが、こう言ったリゾートにいつかは泊まってみたいですね〜！アンコールワットに新婚旅行で来る方も少なくないでしょう、ちょっと足を伸ばしてケップまで来て、こちらのホテルで過ごされたらとても素晴らしい滞在になる事間違いなしでしょうね！

 

Next one is a posh restaurant!

Knai Bang Chatt has a sailing club and resort hotel and this  property is very stylish indeed! Knai Bang Chatt is located a bit north from the Crab market.

The price of hotel is rather expensive, but I wanna stay such a resort one day! I’m sure some people visit Cambodia for a honeymoon to see Angkor Wat, so why don’t you take an extra mile to visit Kep? It must be a superb experience to stay such a place!

 

 

ビーチに置かれたテーブル席で食べるのも良し、もしくは桟橋に用意されている席が空いていれば、こちらの席を強くお勧めします！ここでサンセットを見ながら一杯なんて、最高ですよ〜！

僕はいつも一人で行っていましたが、周りはもちろんカップルやファミリーばかりでした…

こちらのレストランもサービスは良く、とても気持ちの良い時間を過ごすことが出来ました。ただ、こちらの桟橋の席は日が暮れてしまうととても暗く、スタッフに気付かれづらくなってしまいます。

 

You can choose a table on the beach, or if you are lucky enough, I do recommend the table on the pier! It’s just awesome to have beer as watching a sunset!

I always visit there alone, but of course there were many couples and families…

The service was great and I really do enjoy having meals here. Mind you, if you take a seat on the pier, it’s gonna be pretty dark after sunset, so it might be a bit difficult to call a waiter.

 

こちらのレストランの食事も美味しかったですが、お勧めはスイーツ系でした！

先ほど書いた通り、こちらのレストランは日が暮れてしまうと、かなり暗いのであまり食事の写真は撮っていないのですが、唯一残っていたのがこちらのライムチーズケーキ。カンボジアでこんなにレベルの高いケーキが食べられるなんて・・・

また、本当に写真を撮っていないのが残念ですが、このレストランの カシューナッツブラウニー は絶品！とっても濃厚で、変に甘過ぎず今まで食べたブラウニーの中で一番美味しかったですね。優勝！

 

Surely, the foods which I had were all great, but I wanna recommend sweets!

As I mentioned before, this place gets pretty dark after sunset. That’s why I didn’t take the pictures of foods, but I had this lime cheesecake one! I never imagined that I could have such a delicious piece of cake in Cambodia…

I’ve been regretting why I didn’t take a picture, but this restaurant’s  Cashewnut brownie  is DEVINE! It was really rich taste and wasn’t too sweet at all. That was the best brownie I’ve ever had in my life. Choice!

 

メニューを事前に見てから訪問するのをお勧めしますよ！こちらのレストランも、カンボジアにしてはお高めですが、この素晴らしいロケーションと、味の良さを考慮すると、コスパは非常に高いレストランだと言えます。

また、奥の方には気持ちの良いソファーが置かれた、ラウンジエリアがあり食事後にそちらで寛ぎながら一杯…なんてのも素敵ですね！

 

I do recommend to check the menu before visiting there! This restaurant is also a bit pricy in Cambodia, but the location is great and so is the taste. I can comfortably say this restaurant has a high cost performance! 

There is also a lounge area with big sofas. The place looks really cozy, so it’s a good idea to have some drinks after having dinner!

こちらのレストランも、もちろん星三つ！せっかくカンボジアまで来たんだから、こう言った贅沢をするのもありかと思います！先進国で、このクオリティーを求めると数倍のお値段しちゃいますからね。

This restaurant is also a 3 stars! You come all the way to Cambodia, so why not having a gorgeous dinner? If you expect such a quality in the developed countries, it’s gonna cost few times more.

~番外編　お酒を飲むなら… Some small tips about drinking alcohol~

さて、ちょっと番外編で食事ではなくお酒関係の情報も提供しようかと思います。

食事を済ませた後、もうちょっと飲みたいな…なんて思う事ありませんか？どうせなら、ソファーなんかで寛げてお酒の種類が多い所が良いですよね。カンボジアの一般的なレストランは大体ビールがメインで、あとはあってもワイン程度って所が多いです。

 

I wanna give you small tips about drinking alcohol.

Don’t you wanna drink little bit more after having a meal? I wanna change a place for drinking, if there are nice sofas and they offer many varieties of alcohol, that would be very cool. Most of the restaurants in Cambodia have beers and some wines.

 

こちらのレストランは、料理はそんなに美味しくありませんが、居心地の良いソファー席が2階にあり、なおかつカクテルやウイスキーの種類もそこそこあるので、ちょっと一杯やりに行くには丁度良いレストランです。

Google mapで調べたんですが、場所は多分ここで間違いないと思うんですが、店の名前がちょっと変わっている感じがします…以前行った時は「Seagull」としか書かれていなかったと記憶していますが、看板がちょっと変わっていますね。

東南アジアでは、経営者が変わる事が頻繁にあるので、もしかしたらこの店もそうなってしまったのかも知れませんね。

 

Quite honestly, this restaurant doesn’t cook that well, but there are big sofas on the 2nd floor and they have many varieties of alcoholic drinks, such as cocktails and whiskies too. That’s why I visited this place after having a meal.

I searched on Google map and I’m sure the location should be here, but the name of the restaurant has been changed. It was only written “Seagull” when I was there. Often times, owners can be changed in Southeast Asia.

 

このレストランは、いつ行っても混んでいることはなく、好きな席に座る事が出来ました。食事中はビールを飲む事が多いので、ここではウイスキーのソーダ割りを頼む事が多かったですね。

潮風を受けながらソファーでゆっくりと酒を飲むのは、なんとも気持ちが良いものです！

 

This restaurant wasn’t busy most of the time, so I could take a seat wherever I wanted. I always drink beer while eating, so I ordered whisky with soda in this restaurant.

It was really comfortable to get sea breeze as drinking on the sofa!

 

ケップ最初の食事は、ここで蟹チャーハンを頼んだのですが、まさかフライドライスに茹でた蟹を乗っけて来るという、なんとも予想外の物が出て来ましたw蟹の身も一緒に炒めて出て来ると思いますよね！？

この経験から、ここでは食事は頼まずにお酒を飲む場所として使う事になったのです…

 

My first meal in Kep was in this restaurant and I ordered fried rice with crab meat. This style made me surprised! As you can see, boiled crab meat was on the top of normal fried rice. 

Based on this experience, I use this restaurant for just drinking alcohol…

 

お勧め度  Rating ☆☆

2階席の居心地は抜群に良いのですが、料理の質がちょっと残念なこちらのお店。酒の種類が多いので純粋にお酒を飲みに行くには良い場所です。超余談ですが、もし経営者が変わっていなければ、美人な姉妹が切り盛りしています！

 

The lounge floor is very comfortable, but the quality of food is a bit disappointing. However, there are many varieties of alcoholic drinks, so good place to chillax. FYI, if the owner hasn’t been changed, there are beautiful sisters in the restaurant!

 

さてさて、最後にオマケでもう一つ！カンボジアはビールが安く、種類もあるにはあるんですが、レストランで置いているメジャーなものはCambodia、Angkor、Anchorの三種類程度しか無りません。

そんな中、ケップに東南アジアで一番美味しいと評判のBeer Lao（ラオスのビール）が置いてあるレストランを発見しました！僕は大のビール党で、このBeer Laoの大ファンでもあります。最近はタイなんかでも扱う所が増えてきましたが、ラオス国外ではあんまり飲める場所が無いんですよね。

Beer Laoはラガービールで、しっかりとコクもあるけど飲み口スッキリと、とてもバランスの良いビールだと思います！昔ラオスを旅した時は、毎日沢山飲みました。

 

Last but not least, I wanna give you the information about beer. The price of beers in Cambodia is still very reasonable.　However, most of the restaurants offer Cambodia, Angkor, and Anchor.

I found the restaurant, which has Beer Lao, very well-known for its great taste! I’m a huge fan of beer and I do think Beer Lao is one of the best ones in Southeast Asia. You can find it in Thailand recently, but still not that major.

Beer Lao is lager beer, it has rich flavor, yet very refreshing taste too. Very nicely balanced taste indeed. When I was travelling in Lao, I drunk a lot of Beer Lao everyday.

 

Beer Laoが飲めるのは、このKimlyです。場所はHoly Crabのお隣で、大型店舗の部類に入るかと思います。

こちらのレストランも人気店の様で、いつも多くのツーリストで賑わっていました。料理もそんなに悪くなく、また先述の2件に比べるとお値段も若干安めの設定です。

 

You can drink Beer Lao at Kimly and it’s located next to Holy Crab. This restaurant is pretty big, so you won’t miss it.

This restaurant is also popular and there were many tourists all the time. The foods were not bad and the price is slightly cheaper than Holy Crab.

 

蟹の生春巻きを頼みましたが、中に入っている野菜のカットが大きめだったため、食感に統一感が無く可もなく不可もなしと言った感じでしたね。

 

Once I had raw spring rolls with crab meat. The veges inside were a bit big and the taste was blunt.

 

こちらでお勧め出来る一品は、蟹のアモック！アモックは、カンボジアの代表的な料理で、ココナッツミルクをふんだんに使った、カレー味の料理。卵も入っているのでとてもマイルドなお味です。鶏肉や、川魚を使う事が多いですが、さすが蟹で有名なケップだけありますね。

そこそこ大きめのボウルに、蟹の身がたっぷりと使われたこちらのアモックは、とてもお得感ありますよw本当、すごい量の蟹の身が入っています。酒のつまみと言うよりかは、ご飯のおかずの方が合うかも知れませんね。

 

I can recommend Amok with Crab meat in this restaurant! Amok is a typical Cambodian food and it has curry taste with coconut milk. Eggs are inside too, so the taste is very mild. Normally, chicken or river fish are used for Amok. However, here in Kep they use Crab meat!

There were heaps of crab meat inside, I mean heaps! This dish goes well with rice rather than beer tho.

料理もそこまで悪く無いんですが、Holy CrabやKnai Bang Chattに比べてしまうと、ちょっと劣るかな…と言った感じです。また、大型店で多くのお客さんで賑わうので、静かに食事を楽しみたい方にはちょっと不向きな場所です。

また、サービスも至って普通なので、ここはBeer Laoと何か一品を食べる程度でしょう。

 

The foods aren’t that bad, but compare to Holy Crab or Knai Bang Chatt, it’s a bit disappointing. This restaurant is pretty busy, so if you wish to enjoy foods in a quite place, it’s not for you.

The service is mediocre, so better drink Beer Lao in this restaurant.
