毎度タカです！毎日毎日暑い日が続き、なおかつ 大気汚染世界ワーストレベル のチェンマイ…日中は部屋に籠っております。

そんな生活を送っていると、やっぱり運動不足が気になるんです。また、タイ料理は一品一品の量は少ないのですが、ココナッツミルクやら砂糖が入っている料理も多いので、太っちゃうんですw

そんなこんなで、最近ハマっているのはMobikeを使ってのナイトサイクリング。日中は暑いチェンマイですが、夜になるとグッと気温も下がって、サイクリングにもってこいの気候なんです！

今回はシルバーテンプルとしても有名な、 ワットシースパン に行ってきましたので、その様子をご覧頂こうかと思います！Mobikeについての過去記事は、下記リンクからご参照下さい。

 

Hi there, it’s Taka! It’s been bloody hot, and  AQI is one of the worst  here Chiang mai… I’m staying at my room during the day.

Having said that, staying in the room whole day makes me lack of exercise. To make matters worse, Thai foods contain a lot of coconut milk and sugar… so I’m getting a bit chubby! Hahaha.

That’s why, I’ve been hooked on Night cycling with Mobike recently. During the day is scorchingly hot, but in evening is rather cool, so good time for cycling!

The other day, I visited  Wat Srisuphan , aka Silver temple. If you haven’t read the previous post about Mobike, please check it out!

 

【チェンマイ観光はMobikeで！ / Sightseeing with Mobike in Chiang mai!】

 

 

 

ワットシースパンは、サタデーマーケットが開催されます、旧市街南門近くにあります。私が暮らす、サンティタムエリアからは片道約5kmと丁度良い運動です。

私が訪れた夜は、丁度土曜日だったのでお寺はライトアップされ、また何かしらのセレモニーも執り行われておりました。

 

Wat Srisuphan is located near the South gate, where the Saturday market is held. It’s about 5km from where I’m staying, so it’s a good workout.

The night I visited was Saturday, so the temple was lighted up, and there was some ceremony going on.

 

・ナイトサイクリングスタート！ / Night cycling!

 

 

チェンマイ市内を走っておりますと、Mobikeは結構色んな所で見かけます。公園やホテル、ゲストハウス周辺には必ずと言っていいほどMobikeがあります。探す手間が無いのは本当に楽チンです！

 

As you can see, you can find Mobikes pretty much everywhere. Mobikes can be easily found around the parks, hotels & guest houses. No hassle to find them in Chiang mai, easy as!

 

 

お寺に向かう途中で、運良く ギア付きの最上位モデル のMobikeを発見！この時も、ギア付きの物に乗っていましたが、ギアの調子が悪かった上にブレーキの効きがイマイチだったので、新しい物に乗り換えました！

こういう使い方が出来るのも、シェアサイクルの良い所ですよね〜。

 

On the way to the temple, I luckily found the  best version of Mobike, with a gearshift ! I was riding the same model, but there was something wrong with the gearshift, and the brakes didn’t work well, so I switched to the new one!

This is a very good point of a sharing-bicycle system.

 

 

無事にお寺に近づいてきました。土曜の夜8時頃訪れたので、マーケットは人で大賑わいでした。

 

As I approached to the temple, there were many people, as the Saturday market was going on.

 

 

 

こちらのお寺、シルバーテンプルとしての認知度の方が高いようですね！しかし勝手に銀閣寺名乗って良いのかな…w

 

The temple is very well known as the silver temple, and it is called “Thailand Ginkakuji”. Ginkakuji is a very famous temple in Kyoto Japan. Ginkakuji isn’t silver at all tho, hahaha.

 

 

 

 

受付に人はおらず、また誰1人として入場料を払っている人は居ませんでしたね…どうも土曜の夜は無料開放しているようです。やっぱり夜のお寺観光はお金がかからず良いですな、ラッキー！

 

There was no one at the entrance, and no one paid the fee… It seems like the temple is free during the Saturdays evenings. Visiting temples in the evening is cool, sweet as!

 

 

 

 

 

お目当のシルバーテンプルの前に、お隣にあります金の豪華絢爛なお寺から見学致しました。

やっぱり皆さん、銀閣寺がお目当なのでこちらの本堂の中は、サタデーマーケットが開催されているとは思えない程ガラガラでした。入り口のナーガも立派ですが、黄金のブッタはこれぞタイ！と言った感じの輝きっぷりです。

日本のお寺にある、侘び寂びとは違った楽しみがありますね！

 

Before visiting the silver temple, I stopped by a gorgeous golden temple.

Most of the people were watching the silver one, so inside this golden temple was very quiet indeed. I couldn’t believe that it was during the Saturday market. The Nagas at the entrance were absolutely beautiful, but the golden Buddha was breathtakingly divine!

It’s really interesting to see these gorgeous temples, as the Japanese ones are generally simple and dark colors.

 

 

丁度セレモニーが佳境に入った所だったらしく、シルバーテンプルが青いライトに照らされていました。日中、太陽の光の元で輝くお寺も綺麗でしょうが、夜にライトアップされたお寺も綺麗ですよね！

まあ、何度も言いますが夜の観光は暑くなくて最高なんですw

 

As the ceremony was going to the highlight, the silver temple was lighted up by blue color. I’m sure the temple shining under the sun is also beautiful tho.

As I’ve been telling you many times, night sightseeing is literally cool, Hahaha.

 

 

 

あまり期待せずに、フラッと行ってみたお寺でしたが、意外にも見応えがあるワットシースパンでした。

サタデーマーケットついでに立ち寄ってみるのは、大いにありの観光スポットです！

 

I didn’t expect that much about the temple, but it turned out that, it was a very gripping temple indeed.

If you plan to go the Saturday market, must try this beautiful temple!

 

 

 

チェンマイの主要エリアを網羅している、とても便利なMobike。写真の様な公共施設や大型店舗、宿泊施設などの周辺には大きなハブが設置されており、多くのMobikeが並んでおります。

 

Mobike covers most of the Chiang mai’s main areas, and highly useful. There are major hubs near public facilities, malls and hotels, and you’ll have many options.

 

 

ハイウェイ沿いの歩道にポツンと放置されるMobike…幹線道路沿いで、Mobikeをピックする人はなかなか現れなそうなので、この自転車は当分放置されそうですね…

 

The Mobike, which was abandoned by the highway… I think no one will pick this Mobike, so it’s gonna be left like this for a while…

 

 

先程のはまだ良い方で、放置されているMobikeにゴミが捨てられていたり、逆さまにされていたりと、やはりマナーとメンテナンスが追いついていないのが現状ですね…

なので、乗る前に最低限 ブレーキが効くかどうかは、必ずチェックしてください ！もう何十台とMobikeに乗ってみましたが、やはりブレーキが効かない物が混じっています。

 

The previous Mobike is a bit better, some people junk the rubbish into the Mobike’s basket. I also saw the one with upside down! In my humble opinion, the manners and maintenance should be taken care of…

 Do not forget to check the brakes work well before you ride a Mobike ! I’ve been riding many many Mobikes, but there were some dodgy ones.
