シンチャオ！どうも、タカです。寒暖の差が激しい気候が続いていますが、皆さん体調崩していませんか？

かく言う私は、昨年の夏頃に発症しましたヘルニアが、リハビリを続けるも改善する様子が無いので1月一杯で仕事を辞めました…まあそれ以前に、なかなか酷い会社だったのでいつ辞めよう…とタイミングを見計らっていたんですよねw

と言う事で、ブログ執筆に力を入れて行こうと思います！失業保険の手続きが完了したら、今年もまたまたタイに行く予定です。現地から色々と情報を発信していきますので、今後とも当ブログを宜しくお願い致します！

 

Xin chao! It’s Taka here. Japan has a very strange weather in this winter. One day, it was 18℃ and the next day was 8℃. For sure, many many people are suffering from flu.

I actually have been suffering from a slipped disk on my lumbar between No 4 and 5 since last summer. I was doing rehab but I had to carry heavy stuff for my job, so I quit the job last month… Well, the company was rather terrible, so I was planning to quit the job! Hahaha.

So, I have a lot of time to concentrate on writing the blog now!  As soon as I submit the papers for the unemployment welfare, I’m going to Thailand again. Please stay tuned guys!

コピーのNorth Faceを買うならベトナム・ホーチミン！Ho Chi Minh is the best place to buy fake North Face!

 

以前の記事でも書きましたが、個人的にはNorth Faceはあまり好きなブランドではありません。まあなんと言っても、世界中で一番コピーされているアウトドアブランドですし、色んな人が着てますもんねw

とはいえ、ベースレイヤーやロンTが安く買えるのなら良いかな？と思い、カンボジア在住時に息抜きで訪れたホーチミンで色々と市場を回ってみました。今回は現地で買いました、TシャツとロンTの情報ですよ！

 

As I wrote before, I personally don’t like North Face. The brand is heavily copied all over the world and many people have North Face products.

When I was working in Cambodia, I sometimes visited Ho Chi Minh city for a change. I thought it’s ok to buy just T shirts, so I walked a lot to compare the prices and qualities. This time, I would like to show you the apparel of North Fake!

 

さて、まずはポリエステル製のTシャツです。流行りの超速乾素材と言う訳ではありませんが、もちろん綿製品よりかは早く乾きます。生地自体も結構厚みがあり、スベスベとした肌触りが心地良いです。

 

Let’s start with this polyester T shirt. It’s not a fast dry material but it surely gets dry faster than cotton. The fabric is pretty thick and it has a nicely sleek  touch.

 

黒っぽいチャコールグレーの生地に、オレンジのロゴの組み合わせが気に入りました！本家では、まずやらない組み合わせだと思いますw購入してから1年以上経ちましたが、ロゴのプリントも剥がれる事なくまだまだしっかりと残っています。

こんな転写プリントは簡単にコピー出来ちゃうでしょうから、簡単にコピー製品が量産される訳ですよね。

 

I quite liked the combination of dark-charcoal fabric and orange logo! I’m sure REAL North Face wouldn’t make such a product! Hahaha. It’s been over a year since I purchased the T shirt and the logo is still intact.

I guess, it’s really easy to make such logos, so tons of copy products are manufactured.

 

サイズはXLと表記されていますが、日本のLサイズ位でしょうか。僕は身長180cmあります、あまりダボっとしたサイズの着こなしはしませんが、これは丁度良い位のサイズ感です。おそらく、現地ベトナム人の体型に合わせた作りになっているのでしょうね。

 

The size is written “XL” but I guess it’s like “L” size in Japan. I’m 180cm tall and I don’t like to wear loose fashion. However, this shirt is just right for me. The size is made for the local people.

 

さて、最後にケアラベルを見てみましょう。このラベルは、かなり良い加減な情報が書かれていることが多いんですが、組成に関しては間違いは無さそうですかね。ただ「Made in Singapore」はまず有り得ないと思いますwあんな小さい国に縫製工場なんて作る余地無いと思いますが…

 

Let’s look at the care label. Most of the copy products have very useless labels but this label shows the correct information for its composition. However, it can’t be “Made in Singapore” ! I don’t think there are garment factories in such a small country…

 

 

さて！お次は、同じお店で購入しましたロンTです。生地にホコリの様な物が付いていますが、これはネパールで購入したダウンジャケットから飛び出てきている物ですw近い将来、ネパールのコピー品の記事も書きますので、ご期待ください！

 

Let’s move on to this long sleeve shirt. As you can see there is a lot of dust on it but these are feathers coming out from a dawn jacket which I bought in Nepal! I’m going to write about the copy products of Nepal near the future too!

 

こちらは黒の生地に、シルバーのロゴの組み合わせが気に入り購入しました。お店には色んなカラーバリエーションが有りましたが、なかなか気に入った色とサイズの在庫が無かったりするので、商品をくまなく探す必要が有ります。

 

I like the combination of black fabric and the silver logo. There were many color combinations in the store but it was rather hard to find the good combinations of colors and size… You need a lot of time and effort!

 

こちらのサイズ表記はMですが、僕の体にピッタリです。まあ縫製仕様書なんてものは存在して無いでしょうから、サイズはあてになりませんね！

組成も「100％コットン」なんて買いてありますが、生地の伸び感、また毛玉が出来ているのを考えると何かしらの化繊が混じっているかと思います。このシャツも乾くの結構早いんですよねw

 

The size is written “M” but it’s just right on my body. I’m sure there isn’t a sewing specification, so you can’t count on it!

It’s also written “100% cotton” but the shirt stretches well and there are many pillings on the surface… I guess some chemical fiber is mixed on it. The shirts gets dry rather fast too! Hahaha.

 

こちらのロンTには、North Faceのロゴが入った本物っぽいケアラベルが付いています。しかし、ここにもコットン100％の組成表示が…どこかの工場で使用されていたケアラベルが流出してるんでしょうか？このデタラメなケアラベルの謎、どなたかご存知無いですか？

 

As you can see, the care label looks like “REAL” but again, the composition is written “100% cotton”. I wonder some care labels were leaking from factories? Does anyone know about this mystery?

 

 

さて、何度も以前の記事にも書きましたが、僕は以前第三者検品会社に勤めていました。皆さんが買われている洋服、店頭に並ぶ前に検品され、また検針もされているんです。

コピー品のレベルは、昔に比べると格段に上がってはいますが、まだまだ粗さが目立つ商品が多いです。僕が購入したシャツにも、許容範囲ではありますがちょっと縫い目が気になるところがありました。

 

As I wrote many times, I was working for an inspection company. The clothes which you buy in shops are inspected and also passed a needle detector.

The quality of copy products has been getting way better than a decade ago but you can still find sketchy things. I found the seams are bit rough, acceptable level though.

 

 

 

と、ご覧の通り縫い目がちょっと雑ですよね！購入する前に、しっかりとチェックしましょう！検品方法は、カバンの時と同じですがもう一度書いておきます。

 

・生地に汚れが無いか、穴や引っかき傷など無いか見ましょう！ミシンで縫い直してある跡など、良く見られます。

・縫い目を軽く手で引っ張り、直ぐに縫い目が外れてしまわないかチェックしましょう！

・もし、洋服にボタンが付いていたらちゃんと留めてあるか、ボタンの裏の糸始末をチェック！ジッパーがある物は、ジッパーを最低3回は開閉してスムーズに動くかチェックしましょう！

 

As you can see the seams are a bit rough aye? It’s still ok but better inspect before you buy things! I’m going to write how to inspect clothes.

 

・Check fabrics carefully, there isn’t a stain or hole. Re-stitching can be found quite often.

・Pull seams gently, so that you can find defective seams! 

・If there are buttons on clothes, check carefully they are attached securely! If there is a zipper, slide up and down at least 3 times! 

 

 

さて、最後になりますが何処で購入出来るのかご説明しましょう！

ご存知、ホーチミンでの買い物と言えばベンタイン市場が有名ですが、とにかくボッタクリが酷く、また空調も効いていないので暑いんですよ！客引きも鬱陶しいのでオススメ致しません。

 

Last but not least, I’m going to explain where is the best place to buy the copy apparel!

As you know, Ben Thanh market is the most famous spot but the price is rather high and you are most likely ripped off! More over, it’s bloody hot there and some sales persons are pests…

 

こちらのTaka Plazaは、安宿街で有名なバックパッカーストリートの直ぐそばで、階段を降りて地下にあります。

中には、ちょっとしたスーパーやフードコートも併設されています。もちろんクーラーも効いているので快適です！ショップ数はそこまで多くありませんが、何店舗かコピーのアウトドア用品を売っているお店があるので気に入ったデザイン＆サイズを隅々までチェックしましょう！

こちらのお店は、値段が明記してありその値段も良心的です。ほどご紹介したTシャツとロンT合わせて 10＄ にまけて貰いました！僕は購入しませんでしたが、North Faceの折りたたみエコバッグの様な物も売っていまして、なかなか良い出来でしたよ。

 

“Taka Plaza” is located just next to the famous “Backpacker Street” and you need to get down the stairs.

There are a small super market and food court as well. Of course inside the building is cool, comfortable as! There aren’t many shops but you can find few shops selling copy outdoor products. Please check the shops patiently to find you favorite!

They offer fixed price and the prices are reasonable. I bought the T shirt and long sleeve one for  10$ ! Luckily enough, I got a slight discount! I also found foldable shopping bags of North Fake as well. I didn’t buy them but looked pretty good.

 

 

余談ですが、ホーチミンの安宿事情はあまり芳しくありません。バックパッカーストリートなどは部屋が極狭で、なおかつ夜まで騒がしいので僕は避けていました。

僕が実際に泊まりました、Memories de Saigonは中心からちょっと離れるので、静かですしとても綺麗に管理されています。ドミトリーメインの宿ですが、ダブルルームはそこそこ広く高層にあるので静かでした。

また、一階共有スペースも気持ち良いですし、スタッフも英語可能で親切な方々でした。そして、超可愛い犬氏が居るので犬好きにはオススメです！

 

Just for your information, the budget accommodation isn’t really good in Ho Chi Minh city. If you stay in the Backpacker street, a room can be bloody small and noisy till midnight. That’s why I avoided to stay there.

I stayed at Memories de Saigon. It’s a little bit far from the centre but pretty quiet and well maintained. They have dorm rooms and I stayed in a double room, it was big enough for a single traveler. 

The common room on the ground floor is comfortable and staff speak English well. A big bonus is, there is a very cute dog so if you are a dog lover, why don’t you stay there? I do recommend it!

It’s a good season to visit Vietnam right now! I think Forth Fake products are good souvenirs for those who are into outdoor activities. BTW, please bring back the North Fake products by your own risk. I’m sure if they are found at your country’s airport, they can be confiscated…

・Please do inspect the products before you buy them! Look around the shops patiently!

・I recommend Memories de Saigon to sleep in MCM city! There is a very adorable dog there!
