せっかく昨日まで続いていた、謎の腹痛も治ったので日曜位は昼からビール！と思っていたのに…

 

Hi there, It’s Taka here. I just heard that today is an early voting day in Thailand. Thus, there will be no alcohol sold.

I got recovered from a mysterious stomachache, and eager to drink beer… Oh well, it’s the part of travelling aye?

 

さて、タイにハマって何度もバンコクを訪れていると「 日中やる事がなさ過ぎる… 」と嘆いている方多いのでは無いでしょうか？

タイにハマった当初は、王宮やらワットポーなんかに観光に行くんですが、暑い上に観光客で激混み…なおかつお寺を見るのに 数百バーツ も払ってこんな物か…と思った事ありますよねw

そんなあなたに、今回はバンコク屈指の面白お寺ワットパリワートをご紹介致しますよ！

 

If you visit Bangkok few times already, you might feel “ Nothing to do during the daytime… ” right?

I’m sure ,when you visit Thailand for the first time, you go to the Grand palace, Wat Pho etc… But, it’s bloody hot during the day, and such places are always full of tourists! To make matters worse, you need to pay  few hundreds THB … Are you satisfied with that?

This time, I’m going to introduce the Bangkok’s funniest temple, Wat Pariwat!

 

 

 

今回ご紹介するワットパリワート。僕が愛読しているブログ「タイでうきゃうきゃ日記」で情報を知り、タイの面白お寺や時獄寺が好きな僕は早速行って見ることにしました！

I found this temple from my favorite blog (Unfortunately only in Japanese!).  I’m not interested in normal temples, but I do like funny ones and hell temples, so I decided to go to Wat Pariwat!

さてこちらのお寺、バンコク郊外にありますが、やはり隣には立派なコンドがそびえ立っています。

敷地に入ると、お寺が２つ見えて来ますが、目的のお寺の方には目を引く像が立っているので、直ぐに分かりますよ。

 

This temple is located outskirts of Bangkok, yet there is a huge condo next door.

When you enter the premises, you’ll find 2 temples, but you’ll find our destination pretty easily. There are funny statues in front of the gate.

 

 

謎の生物がお出迎え。いらっしゃーい！

塀の中に入ると、ムムム！このお寺の建物自体、非常に綺麗で精巧な創りでは無いですか。ド、ドキドキが止まらない…

 

Once I crossed the gate, wow! This building itself was very beautiful, and exquisite indeed! I got excited…

 

 

 

まだ新しいと言う事もありますが、とても綺麗で細部まで非常に凝った作りで圧倒されます！

 

This temple is still new, so very beautiful, but look at the details! This temple is absolutely gripping.

 

 

本堂の中にあるブッダもご覧の通り！いや〜このお寺、凄いお金かかってますよね…タイの謎でありますw

 

Look at the Buddha statue! Man, I think this temple costs pretty a lot of money to build! Amazing Thailand…

 

 

さて、そろそろ問題の外壁をじっくりと見ていきましょう。ご覧の様に、外壁には様々な創造的な像が埋め込まれています。

 

Well, let’s take a look at the outside of the temple. As you can see, there are many imaginative statues on the wall.

 

 

ムムム！いきなり凄いの出て来ましたねw巨乳のミッキー、てかミニーじゃ無いのね。

Wow, look at the busty Mickey mouse! Hahaha. I admired that this temple fucked such a copyright.

 

ちょっと弱そうなキャプテンアメリカ氏。

製作中のバットマン…遊び心があって非常に良い感じですねw

 

Bat man is working… I love this temple, as you can see the playful minds in many places!

アニメのキャラだけではなく、こう言った像も遊び心満載で非常に見応えありますね〜。このお寺、建設されるのに凄いお金と労力が費やされてますな。

この他にも、まだまだ色んなキャラクターが居ましたが、後は皆さんがご自身で行かれて探して見てください！

 

Not only comic characters, these statues are also beautiful and funny aye? I’m sure it takes so much money and time to build this temple.

There were many other characters, but please find them by yourself! This temple is worth visiting guys!

 

もう１つのお寺は猫寺化… / There are many cats in the other temple…

 

大満足のワットパリワート観光を終え、ちょっと休憩を兼ねてもう１つのお寺の方に足を運びました。

この日も、日差しが強烈でちょっと冷たいものでも…と探して居ました。

 

After satisfying sight seeing, I went to the other part of temple.

On that day, the sun was brutally strong, and I needed to eat something cold…

 

 

な、なんとラッキーなタイミング！アイスクリームの移動販売が、ちょうどお寺に来ているでは無いですか！

チリンチリーンと、鈴を鳴らしながら走っている自転車orバイクが居たら、高確率でアイスクリーム屋さんです。しかも、コンビニとかで売っているアイスより美味しく、お値段も10バーツ〜と非常に安価です。オススメ！

 

That was a really good timing! I found a mobile ice cream shop in the temple! Yuppyyy!

If you find a bicycle or motorbike, that rings a bell could be a mobile ice cream shop in Thailand. The taste is better than the ones sold in convenient stores, and the price is 10~15THB. If you find them, give it a try!

 

 

まさかのアイスをゲットして、川沿いに向かいます。ここにはちょっとした飲食スペースがあり、休む事が出来ます。

 

There are chairs and tables by the river, so you can take a rest. There is also a small restaurant, so you can have meals too.

 

 

まったりとしていると、このお寺に沢山の猫がいる事が分かりました。何を隠そう無類の猫好きな僕…猫ちゃん達と戯れます。

 

When I was taking a rest, I found that there were many cats in the temple. I actually love cats… so I surely played with them.

 

 

もう一匹、非常にフレンドリーな猫氏が近寄って来ました…超可愛いですな！連れて帰りたい〜。

 

Another very friendly cat approached to me… My gosh, I wanted to take the cat to my home! 

 

ワットパリワートの場所 / Location of Wat Pariwat

 

 

公共の交通機関を利用して行く場合は、BTSの Chong Nonsi 駅を下車し、 BRTと言う路面電車 でワットパリワートまで行く事が出来ます。人数がいる様でしたら、タクシーで行った方が安くて早いと思います！

私がいつも宿泊する、MRTスティサーンからタクシーで30分程度で着いたと記憶しております！

 

If you take public transportations, take BTS to  Chong Nonsi , and then take  BRT(tram)  to Wat Pariwat. 

I took a taxi from Sutthisan, and it took about 30mins.

 

 

さて、今回はバンコクの面白スポットとして有名な、ワットパリワートをご紹介しました！

もう普通のお寺観光は飽きて、日中観光する所が無い…とお嘆きの方に是非とも行って貰いたいスポットです！タイ人も知っている人は少ないので、タイの友人を誘って行くと盛り上がりますよ！

 

・普通のお寺観光に飽きたら、アニメのキャラクター満載の ワットパリワート へ！

・行き方は、BTSとBRTを乗り継いで行けますし、タクシーでも中心地から30分程度です！
